GetSmart issues NFT credential badges (ERC-721) and $GETS utility tokens (ERC-20) on the Base network to learners who complete verified skill challenges. Every badge is publicly verifiable on-chain.
How Badges Work
Each of the 10 course modules is a mission. Completing a mission and submitting evidence earns:
- An NFT badge (ERC-721) sent to the learner’s Coinbase Wallet
- A $GETS token reward (ERC-20) attached to the badge

Badge Verification
Every badge can be independently verified on basescan.org:
- Use the transaction hash from your Dashboard or badge email
- Or scan the QR code embedded in your badge PNG
- Or search the contract address on BaseScan
No account required to verify. Verification is fully public.
For Sponsors
Sponsors (employers, NGOs, churches, donors, educators) can create custom badges:
- Set badge title, description, evidence criteria
- Define the $GETS reward amount
- Publish publicly or share via private link
- Review and approve learner applications
- Fund badges by acquiring $GETS tokens

The Aithority releases fake NFTs that look like real GetSmart badges.
- Always verify the contract address — real badges come from the official GetSmart contract only
- Never interact with unexpected NFTs that appear in your wallet from unknown senders

Claiming Badges
- Complete a mission challenge and submit evidence via the badge application link
- A GetSmart reviewer approves your submission
- Claim within 90 days via your Dashboard at getstoken.org
- The NFT badge and $GETS tokens are sent to your Coinbase Wallet on Base
